Welcome to Our Digital Studio: Our Slow Making Journey is Growing

Hello, Until now, we have built a truly precious connection face-to-face at the inspiring design markets of Rotterdam and Amsterdam, during our hands-on ecoprint workshops, and at joyful festivals. The excitement we share while exploring the unique textures nature offers has always been the greatest motivation behind my creative process. Now, I am thrilled to take this bond one step further and welcome you to our very own digital space. Welcome to LEAF & LOOM's new digital studio! I envisioned this space as much more than just a storefront to display my designs. It is a shared sanctuary where we can explore my sustainable production journey, dive into the philosophy of slow craft, and celebrate the profound inspiration we draw from nature. From now on, I will be announcing our new ecoprint collections, exciting upcoming exhibitions, and new workshop dates firsthand right here. Colors from Our Roots: Anthropology and Natural Dyeing

Humanity's bond with nature is as old as the first leaf imprint left on a piece of cloth. My education in Anthropology at Istanbul University provides me not only with an aesthetic vision but also a deep historical foundation when working with plants in my studio today. PDF For me, natural dyeing is not merely about coloring fabric; it is the practice of reviving the fading memory of our ancestors who extracted colors from tree barks, leaves, and roots. Sustainable Christmas Spirit: Café de Ceuvel

Café de Ceuvel in Amsterdam, with its unique atmosphere centered around environmental awareness and sustainability, is a place where the LEAF & LOOM philosophy truly comes to life. Being a part of the Sustainable Christmas Market here since December 2024 has always been a very special experience for us. Sharing our naturally dyed textile products, crafted with zero-waste and slow making principles, with this wonderful community that respects nature and supports conscious consumption brings us great inspiration. Following our first gathering last December, LEAF & LOOM designs met with you once again at The Mingle Shop Festival in Rotterdam on May 31st.
