- Owner: Nihan Elmaci Basaran
- Address: Mathenesserweg 49B3, 3027HE Rotterdam, The Netherlands

2. Applicability
These terms apply to everything we offer through Leaf & Loom: the webshop (handmade textiles), our in-person workshops, and our made-to-order custom designs. By placing an order or enrolling, you agree to these terms.
3. Prices & offers
All prices are in euros (EUR) and include VAT (incl. btw). Any delivery cost is shown clearly at checkout before you place your order. Offers are valid while stated or while stock lasts. Obvious mistakes or pricing errors are not binding on us.
4. How an order is made
You place a binding order by clicking the order button labelled “order with obligation to pay”. The contract is formed once we confirm your order by email. We send this confirmation on a durable medium (email), so you always have a record of what you ordered.
5. Payment
Payments are handled securely by our payment provider Mollie (iDEAL and other common methods). Your order is processed once payment is confirmed.
6. Delivery
We deliver worldwide. Unless otherwise agreed, we deliver within 30 days at the latest (Art. 7:9 BW). Full delivery details are on the Shipping page.
7. Right of withdrawal
For standard goods you have a 14-day right of withdrawal (herroepingsrecht): you may cancel your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Full details and the model withdrawal form are on the Returns page.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Made-to-order or personalised pieces (Art. 6:230p sub f BW).
- Workshops booked for a specific date (Art. 6:230p sub e BW).
8. Conformity & legal guarantee
The goods we deliver must conform to the contract. You always have the statutory legal guarantee (wettelijke garantie / conformiteit, Art. 7:18 BW), which exists independently of the right of withdrawal. Please note that our pieces are handmade and naturally dyed: natural variation in colour, pattern and texture is part of the craft and is not a defect.
9. Workshops
Enrollment is per seat and is paid in advance. Because a workshop is a leisure service provided on a specific date, the 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply (Art. 6:230p sub e BW).
Goodwill policy. Even though we are not legally required to, we want to be fair:
- You may move your booking to another available date free of charge if you tell us at least 24 hours (1 day) before the start, subject to availability.
- Within 24 hours of the start, or in the case of a no-show, the fee is non-refundable and the booking cannot be moved.
- We do not give cash refunds for cancellations made by you.
- If we cancel or reschedule a workshop, you may choose another date or receive a full refund.
Aprons, tools and materials are provided. Please arrive on time so the session can start for everyone. Participants must be at least 12 years old, and anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a participating adult.
10. Made-to-order designs
Made-to-order pieces are produced by hand to the design you have saved. Because each piece is personalised, it is exempt from the right of withdrawal (Art. 6:230p sub f BW). Production takes time; in-stock pieces are dispatched within 1–2 business days, and made-to-order pieces take roughly 2 to 4 weeks.
You keep the rights to your own design and grant us a licence to produce it for you. By placing a made-to-order request you confirm that your design does not infringe the rights of any third party.
11. Liability
Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damage arising from misuse of our products. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.
12. Complaints & disputes
We want every order and workshop to go well. If something is wrong, please email info@leafandloom.nl. We aim to respond within 14 days.
If a complaint cannot be resolved together, the dispute may be submitted to the competent Dutch court.
13. Governing law
Dutch law applies to these terms and to any agreement made under them. Disputes are submitted to the competent Dutch court.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one shown on this page, dated under “Last updated” above.
